Liz Montgomery, RN

I grew up in Manhattan and New Jersey; a combination of a country and city girl. After graduating from The Fashion Institute of  Technology,  I went directly into working in the music industry. Most of that time was spent working at RCA and Mercury Records in their tour marketing and artist development departments. When the music business began to change, I went back to get my nursing degree. After spending several years working as an inpatient nurse in NYC, I decided to get back into entertainment. I've been lucky to be able to blend both of my careers and am now working in Film Production Health & Safety.

 

I've been a life-long writer and have published several pieces. My writing experience has brought me great opportunities.  My first writing job was as a staff writer on a nursing-industrial series in Los Angeles. I have bylines in several publications including, Oprah Magazine, amNY, and appear in The Byline Bible by best-selling author Susan Shapiro. I also have experience as an on-set and script consultant for medical accuracy.

When I'm not on set, I'm writing, hanging out with my dog, my friends, and enjoying life. As a stage-4 cancer survivor, each day is sweeter than the next.
